MISC. TUESDAY STUFF

Recovery hopes begin to blossom - CNN Money

If this is true then closings couldn't come at a better time.

Co-op Fees Go Through the Roof - NY Times

This is about Co-ops not Condos I know but... Increasing property taxes and higher fuel costs? This shouldn't affect 34 Crooke - as long as the building still gets it's 421-a tax abatement. Does anyone know what's up with that?

David Byrne to Open Brooklyn Festival - NY Times

June 8th at the Prospect Park Bandshell.

UniverSoul Circus

Performing in Prospect Park April 8th to the 26th.

Prospect Park may host Woodstock's 40th anniversary - Daily News

I think this is a bad idea - sounds like a big mess to me...

THE CHERRY BLOSSOMS ARE COMING!

YOU SHOULD LISTEN TO THIS! - This American Life

Specifically to "Act One. Is the Condo Half Empty, or Is the Condo Half Full?" - this is from last month but I just listened. Pretty scary. I certainly don't think this is ANYTHING like 34 Crooke but it's food for thought to be sure...
