Open House Report

Sam has kindly opened up his blog to another trying-to-be 34 Crooke owner. I am also a first time buyer and have been in Brooklyn for the last 10 years. This is my inaugural contribution to any blog so forgive me if make any faux pas. I do have good news from the open house. The gas meters are connected! And there has been progress on unpacking those machines in the gym. Unfortunately it looks like only one cardio machine, the lonely treadmill. The roof deck is progressing, but is abutting a set of skylights... and flashing continues to peel off the roof. Let's hope these issues get addressed before our closings.

Great job reporting SOTI! Glad to see the meters are in. I hope that this is the first of many blog-posts.

I HOPE THEY PLAN TO ADD AT LEAST TWO MORE TREADMILLS!!! We have 23 units in the building. 1 treadmill is not enough. Period. If it is called a gym?.. Then two pieces of equipment is not what you call a gym. It is just equipment. I hope they add more or we can all go to a vote to add more equipment once people have moved in and the owners have complete control of the condo board.

Maybe that's not all the equipment? We could always get more. a bike machine would be nice.

I believe they will add some more.
Let's all be patient and evaluate them after they will complete to assembly the equipments.

yeah, a bike would be nice... and another treadmill.

if we all want the treadmill at the same time we can just all walk around the block while we wait - I don't think it's a problem

well, we could all also go run or bike in the park...
the developer decided to sell this building with a gym, so I'm hoping to see there more exercise machines then in someone's garage.

Exactly.. If they decided to give us a gym then we should have more than your average person would have in their apt! Well said last blogger!! I agree while one person is on the bike then someone could walk around the block. But it looks like there will be more than 2 people at at time wanting to use the treadmill. So lets see if the sponsers in time give us an actual gym.. No negativity here.. But I am disappointed that we just have one lonely one.. :(dysisla
